I have encountered several people that are going through difficulties right now. Some are having marital problems, others have medical or physical issues, and a few have circumstances involving family members. One of the Scripture verses that I often share with them is Isaiah 43:2-4, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior… and I love you” (NLT).
Sometimes we can feel so alone when we go through troubles— it feels like God has abandoned us; but that is far from the truth. God is always with us— it is Satan that wants us to believe that God has left us. If you are experiencing negative circumstances in your life, then remind yourself in your heart and gut that God is still there; and believe that He will get you through it. Remember, you have nothing to fear because the God that knows you by name will not let any of your problems overtake you. He is the One and only God and He loves you!
